Most people avoid fat due to its high calorie content, but evidence has proven that the Keto diet and not low-fat diets are effective for promoting weight loss. Keto diet is also very filling and reduces hunger pangs which is important when you intend to lose weight. It is not difficult to switch to and stick to a Keto diet. What is actually difficult is adhering to strict rules and guidelines. As long as you maintain the Fats : Protein : Carbs ratio, you’ll lose weight fast. It’s a no-brainer. And quite unbecoming that many have deviated from this core principle of the Keto diet.

The simple formula is to increase the fat and protein content in your meals and snacks while reducing your carb intake. You must restrict your carb intake to reach and remain in Ketosis. Different people achieve Ketosis with varying amounts of carb intake. Generally, it is easy to reach and stay in Ketosis when you decrease your carb intake to not more than 20grams.
